MEET ME – THE PERSON BEHIND LUNA ET SOL APARTMENTS
My Story: Giving Our Family Home a New Life
Some places mean more to us than just a home. They become part of our lives, holding memories and stories that we will never forget.
For me, Luna Et Sol Apartments is exactly such a place.
The story of this house began in 1994. My father was German, and my mother was from Kraków. She dreamed of returning to the city she loved so much. My parents sold their home in Germany and decided to build a new family home in Rząska, just outside Kraków.
This is where I grew up. I spent my childhood and teenage years in this house until I finished secondary school. Afterwards, I moved to Vienna to study.
My parents put an enormous amount of time, effort and love into this home. That is why it has always been such a special place to me.
When the family home passed into my hands in 2024, I knew one thing for certain: I did not want to sell it.
I wanted to preserve it for my children and future generations. It mattered deeply to me that my family’s story, which began here more than thirty years ago, could continue.
So I decided to give the house a new life.
Following an extensive renovation and the transformation of part of the house, I created three apartments: LUNA, AURORA and SOL. In November 2025, I welcomed guests through their doors for the very first time.
From the beginning, my goal was never to create a place focused on mass tourism. I wanted to preserve the unique, family atmosphere of this home while sharing it with people looking for comfort, peace and genuine relaxation.
Where Does the Name Luna Et Sol Come From?
The name Luna Et Sol Apartments holds a very special and deeply personal meaning for me.
In 2024, when my mother passed away, my children were just six and four years old. It was then that they said something I will never forget:
“Grandma is our little sunshine during the day, and at night she is the moon.”
Those simple words from my children touched my heart deeply.
They inspired the name Luna Et Sol – Moon and Sun.
I also designed the logo myself, bringing these two symbols together. I wanted my mother’s memory to remain present in the place she loved so much and had created together with my father.
That is why Luna Et Sol Apartments means so much more to me than just a name and a logo. It is a symbol of love, family memories and the bonds that stay with us forever.
I have poured my whole heart into Luna Et Sol Apartments.
Every detail matters to me. It is important that my guests feel at ease and comfortable here—that they are able to relax and enjoy the garden, the swimming pool, and all the amenities I have prepared for their stay.
Kraków holds a special place in my heart. Although I now live in Vienna, I regularly return to my family home and to the city I love. My husband and children share this love for Kraków as well.
I want my guests to be able to discover the most beautiful aspects of Kraków, too. That is why I collaborate with select local partners and recommend places that I know, enjoy, and visit myself. My recommendations are never driven by commissions, but rather by a genuine desire to share positive experiences.
To me, true hospitality is about more than just beautiful interiors; it is, above all, about caring for people—ensuring their comfort and well-being.
My greatest priority is that everyone who visits Luna Et Sol Apartments feels special, gets a good rest, and leaves with wonderful memories.
Luna Et Sol Apartments represents my family home, my memories, and my love for Kraków. It is a place I wish to preserve for future generations, and I am delighted to share its new chapter with my guests.
I invite you to Luna Et Sol Apartments with all my heart.
